Business development and Pricing analyst


Job description

Pricing Analyst:

  • Analyze, set up or correct pricing families together with the product managers and our customer center
  • Analyze, maintain and develop new pricing value drivers for parts
  • Set up and run the price revision twice a year
  • Support the development and maintenance of our pricing software, here with close contact to AC IT and software supplier
  • Develop pricing reports and tools that helps the pricing team to increase operational efficiency
  • Support our global pricing coordinators in their pricing activities with crucial information, training and tools
  • Analyze the business per each entity in terms of price elasticity, price-demand metrics and competition, to enhance customer relations as well as business growth and overall profitability
  • Identify areas for price correction and improvement with respect to profit growth division


Business development:

  • Develop the required tools to support Customer Centers in getting insight in their local pricing; price effect, price elasticity, potentional, optimal price,
  • Develop trainings on pricing strategy and ensure all customer centers are competent to implement this in their local markets.
  • Transfer price management with respect to brand, cross country and product strategy
  • Make price adaptations to the Customer Centers and give advice regarding prices
  • Ensure we retrieve the right market data and feedback on market prices from customer center
  • Analyze competitor data and implement a follow up system of competitor prices in our pricing software
  • Maintain and further develop communication on price changes and relevant data to the customer center
  • Support product managers and pricing with specific training of customer centers
    • Interact with the other members of the CTS Marketing Team to support and maintain focus on growth and profitability in spare parts business

What we expect of you?

Experience requirements

  • Commercial or marketing experience in either service or equipment
  • Technical knowledge on compressors is a benefit.
  • Software skills e;g. MS office, BPCS, SAS are an asset


Educational requirements

  • The successful candidate holds a university degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Economy, Engineering …) or equal by experience
  • Fluency in English is a must, other languages is considered as a plus.
